Krispy Kreme is getting into the holiday spirit and adding a splash of color to their doughnuts. The chain is turning their “O’riginal” Glazed Doughnut green for St. Patrick’s Day and for the first time ever, they’ll be selling the festive treats for multiple days, Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17.
"We know many people also celebrate the holiday Friday, so we're making the O'riginal Glazed Doughnuts available that day, too," says Chief Marketing Officer Jackie Woodward. But if they really know how folks celebrate this holiday, they’d sell these the day after St. Patrick’s Day, for all the um, tired partiers out there.
- And there’s a new Krispy Kreme Nutella Donut! But before you get too excited, to get your hands on this Nutella-stuffed doughnut, you have to head to the Dominican Republic. That’s the only place these goodies are being sold currently, but fingers crossed they make their way to the U.S. soon.
