According to CBS NEWS, Californians will now get their coffee with a cancer warning. A Superior Court judge in Los Angeles has ruled that Starbucks and several other large companies failed to prove that a chemical produced in the roasting process was harmless.
A California law requires businesses to warn consumers if a product contains a chemical linked to cancer. In this case, it's one called acrylamide. California businesses that serve coffee will now have to provide clear warnings that acrylamide is linked to cancer. Here more HERE!
