Cardi B Debuts At #1 On The Album Charts

As expected, Cardi B’s “Invasion of Privacy” debuts on top the “Billboard” 200 Album chart. The rapper moved 255,000 equivalent album units to land her first-ever number one, and giving her the biggest sales week of 2018 since Justin Timberlake moved 293,000 units in February.

Of Cardi’s sales, 103,000 were in traditional album sales, which is the biggest sales week for an R&B and hip-hop album this year.

Elsewhere on the chart, Thirty Seconds to Mars debuts at number two with “America,” followed by last week’s number one, The Weeknd’s “My Dear Melancholy” at three, the soundtrack to “The Greatest Showman” at four and XXXTENTACION’s “?,” at five.

  • Rounding out the Top Ten are: Migos’ “Culture II” at six, “Black Panther: The Album” at seven, Rich the Kid’s “The World Is Yours” at eight, Post Malone’s “Stoney” at nine and Lil Xan’s “Total Xanarchy” at ten.
