Popeyes "Employee" Goes Viral For Quitting To The Tune of Big Pun

What looked like a hilarious real viral video ended up being fake, but the video was still hilarious. Cedrick Workuff of Kansas City was filmed walking into his local Popeyes, seemingly to go in and quit… and he did it to his own remixed version of Big Pun’s “Still Not A Player”. He created entirely new lyrics to match all the reasons why he was quitting, and the video was filmed by his cousin. It went viral on Twitter, with people assuming that this Popeyes employee actually went into the store with a microphone and sang his way through his resignation. HOWEVER, it turns out the video was entirely fake.

VIBE reports:

“Our main missing is to bring back peace and love through laughter,” he told KSHB. Although the idea was planned, the rest was completely improvised. “It’s something me and Marco wanted to put in the works,” said Summers. “It wasn’t planned. It was all improvised. Only the idea was planned.”
