The day has finally come... IHOP has changed its name to IHOB. And now we know what IHOB stands for... and we're not sold on it at all. International House of Pancakes is now... International House of Burgers. Yep, burgers. Despite the fact that IHOP is very unique, they're now going to focus on what hundreds of other restaurants focus on? They will apparently still sell pancakes, but they obviously won't be the focus.
WRAL reports though, that it may just be a summer promotion and not be completely official for the rest of time, but there is no comment from the restaurant about that.
UPDATE! Axios reports that it IS INDEED just a MARKETING STUNT, and the company is not actually changing its title long-term.
