Looks like we can rest easy knowing that the original members of Destiny’s Child are (mostly) still friends! On Tuesday night, Beyonce reunited with original Destiny’s Child member Letoya Luckett backstage at her concert in Texas. Letoya posted the picture to Instagram, with just the word “Love” and a heart. The love also extends to Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles Lawson, who congratulated Letoya on her pregnancy. Letoya also posted many loving shots of the concert on her Instagram story.
It would appear that the two are on good terms, as things soured back in 2000 when Letoya left the group due to “management disagreements.” She then pursued a follow-up solo career.
It would appear, as far as we can tell, that Letoya is in a better position than Farrah Franklin, who was briefly in the group in 2000 after Letoya and Latavia left (and when Michelle entered the fray). Back in 2016, she said that Beyonce "covered up" the real reason she left Destiny's Child.
