So this isn’t something you see everyday — people caught a man on Wednesday fishing in a sewer drain in Center City on Broad Street! But although it seemed like a fun innocuous thing, it’s unfortunately most likely a segment for this guy’s new show. It turns out that Mike Iaconelli IS a Jersey native, but he also is a professional fisher and even hosts a show on Nat Geo Wild. He says in the video that he regularly goes fishing on Broad Street and that he even uses Philly pretzels and hot dogs to get the fish caught (really?) When you watch the video, it’s pretty hilarious — but also very obvious this is likely some type of bit for his show. Either way, only in Philly, right?
