Despite everything basically being Marvel or Marvel-inspired these days, Netflix is taking a step back as it cancels two of its high profile shows.
It announced over the last week that not only have they cancelled "Luke Cage", but they've also cancelled "Iron Fist."
The cancellation of both came as a surprise, but especially Cage.
Marvel and Netflix said on Friday:
“Unfortunately, Marvel’s Luke Cage will not return for a third season. Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is grateful to the dedicated showrunner, writers, cast and crew who brought Harlem’s Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to all the fans who have supported the series.”
